HID Upgrade

I installed the DDM Tuning 35w 5000k HID upgrade kit. The install was pretty much plug and play. I just had to splice in a 12 inch extension into the power lead that runs between the headlights. I mounted the ballasts to the horizontal crossmember located directly behind and below the headlights. Relay was mounted to the passenger side of the radiator mount.

I love my DDM kit. Be sure to aim you lights according to the ford manual.
I started with 35s then upgraded to 6000k 55w lights. Amazing the light that it puts out, and being aimed i never get flashed.

I installed them yesterday but i haven't had a chance to aim them yet. The light output is pretty amazing.

ya. then you go to 55w and the light output almost doubles on top of that. I do have to turn my lights off at night in the drive throughs though. I can see it frying the eyes of the people in front of me through their mirror.
