Thanks to this forum (and the other one) I was able to install the Ford Racing Bar and KC Lights by myself. I learned how to use the aux switches, pass through wires, solder, shrink wrap, etc...All in all, it took me about 4-5 hours to complete it. I did the bar the first day and the lights the next day. It was challenging (I'm a school teacher) and fun to learn something new. I love the look of the lights, and, man, do they light up the road/beach at night. I'll add some night shots soon. Thanks again for the collective posting here of info, pictures, and videos (wiz)! I could not have done it without it!

To JHlebica

I tried to private message you back, but you can't receive them for some reason. Check your privacy settings. Anyways...

I am thinking about doing the same light bar on my truck with hella back magic lights. How did you wire the lights. Did you use the supplied harness or just wire them through the aux switches, and if that was the case could you help walk me through it. Electrical wiring is not my area of expertise

Hi there, I directly wired the two driving lights to aux 1 switch and the two long range lights to aux 2 switch. No harness necessary in the Raptor. I wired all 4 grounds together to the chassis behind the battery. Check out the following threads:

Aux Switches-wiring diagram by Ducati (this forum)
Noobies Guide to Aux Switches by Ricky.Murray (Z forum)
Ford Racing Light Bar Install Problems by IngotSilverRaptor (Z forum) ...just in case

After reviewing all this material, let me know if you have any questions. I had no clue before reading this stuff, but it made it very clear to me.

I installed a defiant prerunner all myself with 4 vision x 8.7s and soldered, heat shrunk, and ran all the wires. Looks 100% professional and im super happy with it. Pics below.

Oh and 2 days ago someone scuffed it with sandpaper at walmart so I took it off and sent it to my local linex place. (Good excuse to get it linexed)
When I first installed it

Then I had crappy lights on it and finally I replaced them with 4 vision x 8.7" lights and with a few more mods came up with this
