Best lights for Outlaw Raptor Hood Mount?

Buying a Hood Mount... Trying to find the best option.

I do not want to spend a TON of money on two lights...

EDIT: The lights have to be either 4" or 6"

are you wanting the most light possible, or are you mostly wanting looks with occasional use? Thats a big difference price wise.
I'm thinking of the smaller Kragen HIDs.

Well, thats a good question.

I see myself using the lights often as the Raptor lights SUCK.

However, something good looking would be nice lol.


I would say functionality over aesthetics for this one.

I am leaning towards these two...

HIDX 4" HID Off Road Light

If $$$$ is no problem...Id go for the VisionX 4500 Series 5" HID Light

I have the VisionX 4502 (spot beam) lights mounted there.
They throw some pretty serious distance.

I've got those on mine and they work pretty well. It's more of a filler kind of light than the long range spot beams of the HIDs. I really like them though. Hang on and I'll put up a video on here for you.

Basically the beginning is low/high/M&R then I turn them off and start with the M&R and add lows and highs

I can deal with "filler" light as long as it lights something up more than the stock lights.

It definitely does. Best way to put it is that it takes the reach of the stock headlights and lights that area up way more.

If you had to do it again... Would you go with the M&R or the HIDX Floods or something comparable. Im not talking 300$ for a light... Something in the 100s
