I'm looking for the brightest long range lights to mount with the Outlaw hood mounts.

Suggestions?

These will supplement my current 40" Rigid LED behind the grill.

Man, those Baja Design squadrons look and put out an amazing amount of light.

If I didn't have the M&R 6" lights, I'd be buying those. But it depends on your budget, because the M&R 6 inch lights = $100 a each, Baja $3XX each.

I have 4" built in HID spotlights up there. When I am out in the desert at night, where my 4 7" hids wont light up, these do. They light up everything beyond what the seven inchers wont.

Alot of people are putting rigid duallys up there... I had to laugh at this because I put rigid back ups on my truck and before I did that I mounted them to my front rally bar. Literally, they lit up the same distance the stock headlights do. The point of offroad lights is everything in front of you right? :ROFLJest:

One thing I considered is mounting a Rigid light bar across there but you know.... Bit excessive :ROFLJest:

Post your decision on here.... Check out the vision x 4500.... I decided against dropping 600 on two lights but they are superior to all others if you wanna drop the money.

I would think some type of HID for distance would be a great addition to the flood characteristics of your LED bar. Mounting the HID's up on the hood will give you that much more distance too.

OK, I'm leaning towards the VisionX 4500 spots with hood mounts. $729 shipped from Outlaw.

Has anyone thought of designing a bracket for the roof mounted LED bar (40" I believe) to be re-designed to mount across the hood above the wipers in that area??

VisionX 4500 HID - according to their site, the spot goes to almost 800m! (over 2500ft).
That probably means you'll be melting the wings off the mosquitos at 200 ft. :)

I like their quality and solid build, but haven't had much experience with others - don't seem to hear good things lately about Rigid...
