I'm really surprised that you're blowing the fuse running only 189 watts. This is the first I've heard of it happening. I'm even more surprised that it's happening while your truck is running. Considering that your system is running at 14.4v while the truck is running, it definitely shouldn't be blowing the fuse.

The quick solution would be to use a wiring harness and relay and draw power from the battery and just connect with switch wire from the relay to the Aux 3 wire. However, I'm really surprised that you need to do that. I'd check that the Aux 3 relay is functioning properly, as well.

Ya agree, lol. Ive tested it out and the system is fine.. Its weird but it is what it is. The light is fine, the switches are fine, go figure.

contemplating replacing my 20" hyper spot rigid with a 30" combo amber if i order a svc front bumper. rigid claims 187 watts and a 13.55 amp draw

That sounds about right. If you're interested, we also offer all of our Elite Series bars in true amber as well. Our Apollo Optics Elite Series 30" Amber Combo is $649. It runs at 180w with a 13.04 amp draw. Let me know if you'd like some more information.
