Does anyone have an idea how to make an amber lens?
I have baja designs squadrons in my foglight location but they are clear and BD's new amber lenses are more yellow then amber ( orange ).
I was thinking an amber colored tint or protective vinyl material ( lamina-x ).
Does anyone have experience with these? or other ideas?

thanks - jeff

Those are more yellow than Amber. Just the same as the $3.99 rolls you will find at autozone

Order some amber plexiglass and just cut to size and silicone over the normal lense. Really good results

Tamiya makes spray paint for polycarbonate in different transparent tints. It's how I had blue lights at snoball last year. If you don't want to spray your cover, take it out and go to Home Depot and buy a sheet of lexan and make a new one to tint whichever color you like.

Orange:
Amazon.com: PS-43 Tamiya Color Transparent Orange Polycarbonate Spray Paint: Toys & Games

Comes in Black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, and Blue. Just make sure you get the ones made for polycarbonate.

For reference, these side marker lights for an Evo were clear.
