43" light bar behind grille mount question

Is there any reason a 43"light bar could not be mounted behind the grille? I was looking to use the Rigid mounts and use the Tough Stuff 40" from Truck and *****, but they don't sell that product anymore. They now have a 43" model that I like. I talked the company today, answered all questions I had. The light has a couple nice features. Making new mounts would not be an issue if I had too.

40" would fit better, because usually a 40" bar measures out to 41.5" end to end. A 43" might be too big
