I had a customer from TX call who had a ProCharger on his truck and it had a catastrophic engine failure. He wanted to build a stroker longblock, so I decided to shoot photos along the build.

This build consisted of:

New OE Block Machined by Livernois Motorsports
New OE Heads CNC'd by Livernois Motorsports

Livernois Motorsports 400ci Stroker Rotating Assembly
-Livernois Forged Crank
-Livernois Spec Billet Rods
-Livernois Spec Forged 9.5:1 Compression Pistons
-Coated Bearings

Livernois 6.2L Head Studs
Livernois 6.2L Main Studs
Livernois 6.2L Rocker Brace System
Livernois Valve Springs
Livernois Custom 6.2L Camshafts

Balanced and Assembled by Livernois Motorsports

We supplied the engine, the customer has a shop local to him doing the install and tune. I will follow up with him in a few weeks and ask if I can post.

The last truck we did with this enigne and twins made over 600 RWHP and 660 RWTQ at low boost.

I for one would like more information on the engine failure caused by the ProCharger! Nice work guys

Unfortunately, I don't have specific details, but do know his block and heads were unusable so it must have been bad.


I just got a chubby!! All thats missing are a couple of hair dryers bolted to it!!
