We are looking for a Very Enthusiastic individual who wants to make a difference at Livernois Motorsports and Engineering and is passionate about building high performance engines. This individual must take pride in the work that he/she produces. Understands that there are multiple customers within an organization and that all customers are treated with respect, and understand that without the customer we don’t have a job. You must be able to work well with others and deal with unique personalities that exist in our industry. We want an individual who brings something to the table, we are NOT looking for an 8-4:30 employee. We want an individual who wants to make a difference everyday that he/she is at work. Overtime can happen on daily or weekend basis. You must also be able to work with OEM engineers on testing and development work.
Lean manufacturing practices are a plus as we are striving to become a lean manufacturing company. Each and every job has a budgeted time allotted, you must be able to meet or beat this budget every time. This individual must have ideas on how to improve your/our processes that are performed on a daily basis. We also have a strict attendance policy as we expect you to be at work on-time.

Requirements
- Have own Tools
- Experience with GM LS, Ford Modular and Mopar Hemi engine families
- Use precision instruments (micrometers, bore gauges, etc.) to take readings accurate to .0001
- Computer experience- Basic- Create and edit documents
- Advanced- Experience with computer controlled machines
- Operate Sunnen Align Hone, Cylinder Hone and Rod Hone
- Operate Sunnen Digital Balancer
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, assemble engines
- Operate Bridgeport and Lathe Machines
- Operate Superflow 901 Engine Dyno
- Operate Welder Tig/Mig
