I recently contacted Rigid for a warranty claim on a D2 light that had chipping with the black paint. I had the light as part of the Rigid Raptor light kit that I got from Alternative Off-road about 18 months ago. Not only did Rigid send me back new lights but they also sent 4 of the newly released brackets because the old brackets required the lights to be installed upside down. Once again, great customer service from a great company that stands behind their product. Thanks Rigid!

Just curious....was the paint chipping from like oxidation or something along that line? I've got some Rigids where the paint has like some sort of corrosion under it. Did you speak with with anyone in particular over at Rigid?

Didn't speak to anyone in particular. I just submitted the warranty claim. I didn't notice any corrosion though.

Damn they replaced 18 month old lights due to paint chipping lol. That is crazy on both sides :D
