How do you think i got the nick name. Back in my downhill mtb days. Raced downhill on a rigid frame against the full suspension guys. hucking it over everything.

Hey guys, is there a filter involved when servicing the transmission? I ask because the filter isn't serviceable in some Ford products. Also, how many quarts of transmission fluid does it take to service the Raptor transmission?

The amount required for a flush is right at 18 quarts. If ordering AMSOIL, you can save a little by purchasing their case of 2 2.5 gallon jugs of their Fuel Efficient Transmission Fluid that meets the Mercon LV requirement.

I believe this has been discussed and it is not something you want to attempt yourself. Even for the DIYers, the tranny flush is best left to the Ford service techs.
