Shortly after purchasing my 2012 SCREW I realized the skid plates are active suspension especially on the long wheelbase stock ride height trucks. Ford suspension engineers must have studied the Class 11 Stock VW Bugs that race in Baja and figured if it works for them it will work for us. After building my own 4130 cross members and 7075 T6 skid plates the ride smoothed out quite a bit.
However they don't look as shiny as when first installed. does anyone know how to restore and keep that mill finish to aluminum skid plates?

Thanks

Edit your thread title please. No one is going to search for "ploishing" down the road. Honestly I had to fight my tablet to even type out"ploishing".
