I added an oil separator to my NA 2014 at about around 3800 miles. I changed the oil for the second time at 5158 miles and decided to see if anything was caught. I was surprised how much in only 1400 miles.

What exactly is a Oil Separator? I always thought those were mainly supercharged engines anyway so I never looked in to them.

Changed the oil in Little Red this weekend and dumped the jlt oil separator. It çatches quite a bit.

I installed the Moroso air/oil separator some months ago on my 2011 SCAB, and really really wish I'd done it much sooner. My experience with the Moroso unit has absolutely convinced me that an air/oil separator is a necessary mod to these engines.

Couldnt agree more with Ruger, i felt the same way after installing mine yesterday, and after doing more research.

Educate me on this please. This catches oil from your crank case vacuum line correct? What potentially bad things could happen from burning a little bit of oil?

Well don't forget that oil is going through your intake, throttle body, and injectors so there's all kinds of stuff to get oil build up plus it actually will lower your octane.
