Connect phone to stereo, can't work on a vehicle with out music. Go inside and grab beer, can't work on vehicle with out beer.

Put on coveralls and boots. Safety first.

Open engine, look at rats nest of wires, think about doing something about that. I'll do it later

Move cardboard under the truck. Realize that truck is parked on cardboard.

Move truck out of garage.

open hood again

clean out oil pan from last oil change

drain oil

drop plug into the pan of hot oil.

find only funnel that fits between bars on svc bumper so I don't have to take off the skid plate. somehow ended up back in the pile of funnels.

move pan to other side for the filter

spill old oil while moving

get 60 paper towels to wipe up mess

drain filter.

spill more oil because you opened it too fast.

get 50 more papertowels to wipe down truck and floor.

start fiddling with other stuff you've been meaning to fix for the last 3 months

remember you need another beer.

leave hot soldering iron on cardboard.

start small fire in garage

pour beer on fire to put out.

get another beer

jack up truck

try and take off lugnuts

spin wheel

drop truck

loosen lugnuts

jack truck back up

take off heavy ass tires

moves heavy ass tires

roll spare out of the back

watch spare roll down driveway and into ****** ************* Honda

kick Honda for being there

roll spare back up the driveway.

mess with bed lights and bed rack bolts

reorganize recovery box

realize tires still need to be out on.

put tires on.

crank lugnuts

drop truck

tighten lugnuts

fish out oil pan

spill more oil

fish drain plug out of oil pan

drip oil on floor going to get more paper towels

reattach drain plug and new filter

find big funnel for filling oil.

start to pour oil

watch funnel tip over and spill oil down the side of your engine

grab 2,356 paper towels

attempt to clean up oil

drink more beer

finish pouring oil

finish cleaning up

pick up heavy ass spare

throw back out

drop spare

watch spare roll down the driveway and into ************* Honda

give Honda another kick for being in the way

roll spare back up the drive way

drop tail gate step.

roll tire up into the bed

close bed

back truck out of garage

clean up all oil

clean self up

get asked by wife, why you aren't ready to go to dinner yet

total time: 6 hours, 34 minutes, and 17 seconds.
