diff leak

What do you guys say? New oil and reseal? What do you recommend for re-seal?

I had the same issue....major sweating at 10 & 2 o'clock of the diff. Dealer removed and resealed the diff under warranty with what looked like Permatex Blue or similar sealant.

If you still have a warranty I'd have them take care of it. Use it if you got it! If not then definitely and after market cover with more gear oil capacity. I have had my mag-hytec cover for 2 years or so and love it!

You have to remove the cover to fix it so why not upgrade? Upgrade to the Mag-Hytec. I just did this and it is easy >> http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f11/mag-hytec-question-37687/

Sounds like a plan :) yea im out of warranty already :/ i just it my 40k miles. I like the dip stick idea too, how many qts is it with the mag hytec?

Dive train warranty is up at 60,000.

I'd say to upgrade as well, but I know some have had trouble getting warranty coverage afterwards.

Edit:I see you have a 2010. Have you ever replaced the rear axle? You may want to look into it. Some have had issues and I thought there was a recall on some (not 100% sure on the recall, maybe it was a tsb)
