I know oil filters have voided warranties but not oil brand. Certain aftermarket filters were coming apart and going through engine.

Even with all the technology and know how. I know I cant taste your oil and void your warranty because is tastes like mobil 1 and not motorcraft. I know testing equipment can break down the chemical properties ph and so on but I dont think they have any way to break an oil down to who has the label on it. I highly doubt but they might somewhere buried deep in the alps.

lol all I was saying was I read in the manual that you should not add additives whether it be additives too your oil or gas I like lucas oil after 100,000 miles but I will never put stabil in my gas because it has stuff in it that eats up rubber
also it says not to put any mod on but I'm not listening any how just letting people know they should read there manuals before making any decisions. Ford is just covering their butts as any good company does
