I agree. It might be strong enough for when you just need a little help due to loss of traction, like in the video. Where a couple people pushing are almost enough. But if stuck in mud I would think there would be bending and breakage of the parts, either the rope or mounting hubs.

If you are going to invest money in that, you may as well buy a winch designed for your truck!

And the rope provided looks really small. And they didn't protect it when it was sliding over rocks.
