Can you make files on a program to load into the lowrance unit? Like if I know the route I'm going to take can I draw the lines?

Yes I can do it or you can download GBS Babble. Free app that converts trails to any major GPS. If you want to send it to me I can make it real fast as well as add it to the data base. PM me if you need help.

Ok this page is a good idea and don't get me wrong but it's a little "F"ed at the same time. You have these trails posted as if you did all the work to get them. You give not one bit of credit to those who went out and did the hard work. The pre mapping hours that went in to it, the prerun hours, gas spent, or breakage that may of happened. Just a thought you may want to give those people some kudos on your post and the first page that shows all the trail maps.

Also anyone looking to go out on these trails keep in mind the hazards can change severely and you should always take at least 2 or 3 others out with you incase you run across issues. Happy off-roading and be safe!

If you cared to look credit is given to those who submit the routes which is 3 out of all routes on the list. The Barstow trails I mapped per the request of a member here who gave me credit for the work. I just never got a trail report back so I can't make notes on how the routes are.

Maybe I may not be seeing it so maybe you can point it out for me. Looking at the last run you posted I see no credit anywhere. I also looked on your first post that list all the runs and all I see is "I also wanted to make the trails geared more towards raptor owners, IE speed areas and or fun trails where we fit. I will add more as I find them but I figured there some members out there had some great routes and was hoping they were willing to share." a bunch of "I"s being you. So yes please help me out here and show me where you are giving credit for the people who are doing the work.

Seriously.... The only one I don't have a name for the trails is the Lake Tahoe one. Based on your posts am I safe to assume you made it and give you credit or do you know who made it so I can note it on the page? As you see I give credit to the people and if not i list the source which is giving credit. The recaps are what people sent me as well.

Barstow trails. I mapped them ALL but did not run them yet. Kind of a trek to run these at the moment.

Wasn't that hard to find the original post http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f113/south-lake-run-24496/ and again no where did I see on this forum you give credit to anyone. Yes you shared links on your web site that I'm sure that ether now or later you will try to make some sort of money on say any names of who you got to files from. Again don't get me wrong I love having access to trails like this but I do like to thank the person who did the hard work.

And this is why I have a website to post the information to so that these banter section don't bloat the purpose of the thread. This will be the last post I will make on your comments. If you wish to continue this feel free to PM and we can chat there. If you wish to keep posting I will just thank you for the thread bumps.

To your topics

Wasn't that hard to find the original post http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f113/south-lake-run-24496/ and again no where did I see on this forum you give credit to anyone.

1) Thanks for the link. I was not given the thread above in the email I received. I have made the changes to the site to note the map maker and the original thread. You could have PMed me this as well and I would have made the changes.

2) How credit is give is YOUR opinion not a rule in stone. I give credit to the people for there time in a manner that seems appropriate for what the goal of the project is. And lets not forget there are raptor owners outside this forum who might want these. I know all raptor owners should be here but only a small portion are. The website also allows for more information to be shared than what can be posted to the forum.

Yes you shared links on your web site that I'm sure that ether now or later you will try to make some sort of money on say any names of who you got to files from.

Sense you brought the website up I am happy to answer. Though if I was a paranoid person I would think you brought this up because of some back room politics but I will assume you are just curious. I, or anyone that has a website would love to monetize it in some way. However in over a decade of building the website I yet to have a sponsor contact me. Unless you are offering as you brought it up then lets chat. The site started as a hobby site and still is. I use it to share drives, post images, and summaries of past outings. I find it easier to use the website as it keeps information for drives clean and organized and allows more information to be shared for the database side of things. Oh and I pay for the site myself, did I mention that.

Also to your comment of future monetize. BMW and Jeep who I think we can agree are more well known than any of us has tried to do the same thing for a database and have had very little participation. Their websites are free as well. The issues is the same as this thread, you are in one of two camps. Share the trails or hell no I spent time making these and you can do it yourself.

Again don't get me wrong I love having access to trails like this but I do like to thank the person who did the hard work.

You obviously have some issue as you vehemently keep posting about one trail that credit was given just not in the manner you think it should be done. As noted this is meant to be a group project and I have made the change to the site once someone gave me the information.
