I think he meant date and time of day you ran the trail as trails can change due to weather or use, so if the map/trail report is 6 months old the user of the trail map should beware that the trail may vary from the time it was ran and reported.

I ment it more like an options as to let people know that you are on a trail
And that you are back safe

Easiest way to do that is as the database goes is people post here and say on trail and off trail. To make it on the website is possible but I assume 99% of the people here won't want to sign in to a site to get the data as well as say on or off trail.

I will add the following to the website details.

Date Ran:
Pre -running time:

----------------------------

- date-time of driving the trail - See Above
- date-time of finishing the trail - See Above
- rating - Not sure how to do this?
- Emergency contact info ? - Kind of hard as 911 is the default in the US but as these trails are in BFE that won't help much. Open to ideas outside having a VHF radio or GPS phone.

And as VG hinted, the date would give a time of year reference to address seasonal conditions.

Ok what i would do (just thinking out loud ) when not linked to FRF

Trail name
Location : country / state / county /nearest town with 10.000 inhabitants
Trail "creation" date
Google-earth/map view of area and trail
Story / pictures from trail maker
Map links for garmin etc

Section by user:
Frf tag names that driven it
Dates drive
Drive time
Strory / pictures

When linked to frf
Add contact info for when no checkin within 48 hours after departure time to become visible or mailing emergency contact ( family / friend of driver )

Yeah that link is more fancy than I think is needed. The idea is keep it simple and clean to give route, major info and download for GPS.

There are a LOT of sites that do what we are doing but this is specific to Raptors. Hence Raptor Project =)

Can you make files on a program to load into the lowrance unit? Like if I know the route I'm going to take can I draw the lines?
