Building an Off Road Toolbox

Ya need one of these

So looking at re-organizing and maybe condensing the size of the off road tool box. So I am looking for ideas and opinions and this seemed like the correct thread to post onto.

1. How much duplication between 1/4 drive sockets and 3/8 drive sockets are appropriate for he off road bag?
2. I am thinking of eliminating the duplicate sizes that I have in a 6-point socket and the 12-point. Currenting I am thinking of just going with the 6-point sockets. Is this a bad idea? Is there a reason I should go 12-point instead?

Next and probably most important. Does anyone have any tips/suggestions of how to get all of this

Personally and my opinion means nothing as off-roading is new for me but see no reason for duplication of tools in 6 and 12 point.

yeah I think the bench and contents would limit my stooge abilities under the backflip so I will just look at the stuff sitting on top of it.

I am agree with the 6 and 12 point duplication, Thanks for your opinion.

Canvas tool rolls are great for wrenches, pliers and screwdrivers. My sockets I am just leaving in the cases they came in for now.

Agreed. The rolls are great and keep tools from bouncing around

I ended up buying a 1/4" drive set and a 3/8" drive set that has both standard and metric sockets. They fit in the ammo can well. I also got a wrench roll and another canvas roll for the other hand tools. I still need to update this thread with some pics.
As for the 1/2" drive sockets. They are all in a small tool bag with some other items like torque bits and Alan wrenches. I only keep the large sockets in the kit that I've used on the truck before.

A 1/2" craftsman braker bar will fit in that ammo can too.

Thanks joe. This is the smaller ammo can that I picked up. I was able to get all of the tools pictured into the can with the use of some Klein bags, and husky bags from Home Depot. Should be decently organized for trail use. Moving on to the 2 or 3 larger ammo cans for winch recovery and other recovery gear. Now If I just had a reason to go to Wilmington this weekend. Lol
