The best $36 I spent.

These things are super easy to install and really make a huge difference, cosmetically speaking. You just use a small screw driver to pry out the reflectors ( outer curved part further from the truck) and snap the delete parts into place. There is a right and left side but it easy to tell a part, one side mirror has two holes on one edge while the other has only one hole. Just match the delete plate with the matching amount of tabs.

Recovery Gear:

Now days my truck spends most of its time cruising around Dallas with the occasional Cub/Boys Scout camping trip. So I'm going to pass on the winch but I still feel like I need some form of recovery gear just in case I get into a jam. I picked up a set of Sand Ladders from the local 4WD shop yesterday. I'm also going to pick up a Hi Lift winch gear and tow rope that basically turns the Hi Lift jack into a Come-A-Long.

Picked of a Rotopax gas can the other day. These cans are very compact and easy to store! I was able to tuck it into my bed extender while being folded up. Then I secured it with a couple bunggie cords. Their only 2gls which I plenty to what I need but you can buy extras and stak them together.

Dee Zee Tailgate assist:

This is by far one of the coolest mods!

Now I'm not going to lie, the compression fitting in the tail gate was a PITA to figure out and get set right...I guess I'm not as Mechanically inclined as I thought lol.

Installed the DBS Bug screen this morning. My only complaint with this product is...not doing it sooner! I rarely ever pop the hood on my Raptor. So you can only imagine the bugs I found...eewww. This is a must install first mod in my opinion. Anyhow, I'm off to the carwash to hose off all the pre-bug screen bugs.

My battery after 3yrs. and 53,000 miles later. I figured I may has well replace it while I'm at it. So I dropped by the local Sears and picked up a Diehard Platinum series battery.

I got a quote on an ADD Venom bumper but everything points to a 60+ day wait. So I installed a factory bumper to place the unsightly dented bumper for the mean time.

Ordered a new set of BFs. (Truck has 51k & needed new threads). It's going to take 3-5 days...Discount Tire has to piece a set together from a couple different states.

I went with the factory stock tires for several reasons but mostly because my offloading has been limited to camping trips since moving to the city. So I really don't need anything taller and or more aggressive.

Waiting at the Tint shop, having 28% applied to the two front side windows.

I should have done this sooner but never really had the time. The truck spent a lot of its early days parked at the yard while I drove a company vehicle.

FYI: my tint shop here in Dallas does clear Bras. They tell me they can also cover the front lower bumper (the small painted plastic piece in between the geille and bumper). I'm pressed for time but I'm really tempted.
