Just got the 2017 Shortbus back from getting some work done at Cameron Steele’s new offroad shop “Baja HQ”
I went with Method wheels, BFG 37’s, Geiser brothers progressive front coils and Deaver +2 leafs in the rear.
I just picked her up this morning but holy cow what a HUGE difference. The tires don’t rub, at least running errands around town, even backing out of my driveway at full lock and I live on a fairly steep hill that creates some weird suspension angles.

The suspension overall feels stiffer but in a good more planted kind of way.
My wife calls our Raptor a boat cause she says it’s so soft that it wallows around.
That feeling is completely gone, she feels more planted and more predictable.
We’re going to Moab for spring break for some hiking and wheeling. I’ll let you guys know how she worked when I get a chance.

So stoked on the recommendations Pab and the guys made down at the Baja HQ.
Got the Bulletproof antenna mount and the PCI cup holder gps mount too.
Gotta save some coin and get those Baja Designs lights I’ve been coveting.

Awesome set up!

Interested to hear your thoughts on the Geiser Springs after running them for a bit. I have a pair of RPG Adjustable Collars that I'm holding off on the install until some more reviews of the Geiser's come out

Just got back from Moab. The Raptor worked awesome. Did a bunch of hiking and wheeling. She did awesome on the white rim trail which is bumpy but easy. Felt bad blowing by the Jeep guys while they were bouncing around all over the place inside their Jeeps.
Did some medium rated rock trails. Passed a Cherokee on an either or and he took the easy way. Caught a wrangler but didn’t pass on the same trail. They were mildly built and on 35’s. The Geiser front springs with the Deaver +2’s worked awesome. The 37’s on Method 17’s never once rubbed and we did some fairly gnarly stuff, especially for a raptor. Sorry I was so freaked out I didn’t stop and take pictures. I know, really lame.
Anyways I highly recommend this setup. It worked amazing. Hit up PAB at the Baja HQ, those guys got it figured out.

This pic is a baby step we went up on the white rim trail which is rated easy, in 2wd, unlocked rear end. 37’s aired down to 22.

Just got the Shortbus back from Baja HQ. They installed the Baja Designs Fog light pocket kit. It looks great! I’ll get some pics tonight of how the lights do. I went with the “pro” level kit.
