Im currently in the process of saving to do a Dual Fuel Conversion on my Raptor. When its done the truck will run on either Gasoline or Propane. The truck starts on Gas until the coolant reaches a set temp. Once the vaporizer is warm enough the truck will automatically switch to Propane and run 100% on it. Im stupid pumped to get this done and run an alternate fuel in my beast lol. Take that gas pumps :pokeowned:

That would be interesting! Our state has been pumping good money into building more propane fueling stations.

Y not CNG instead? I'm pretty sure its way cheaper than PRO down here in OK. $1.40 per GGE here and regular ethonaled 87 is $3.10 a gallon.

Yep, propane is a biproduct of gasoline production, not really saving anything there. It does burn cleaner.

CNG is the way to go but has a low BTU and requires a large tank. But if you buy a home compressor (not cheap at $10k and has to be rebuilt) you can fuel your car from the NatGas feed coming into your house. If they ever figure out how to LNG fuel tanks for cars, that will be the fuel we use for the 21st century to power our cars.

Think last time I filled my 1,000 gallon propane tank for the house it was right at $3/gal.

so there is a little difference in price, but not much. other than that, whats the other reasons to do a conversion like this? what modifications to the truck are necessary as well?
