FarFromStock's 2012 Raptor Build

Now that the RPG Stage 3 kit is about to arrive, it's starting to get real up in here and I guess I should start a dedicated build thread to capture all the mods in one location.

As Birdman suggested, I'm going to reserve the next 5 posts to try to keep everything on the first page.

Here are some of the mods/upgrades I've done to date:

1. WeatherTech Digital Fit front and rear floor mats. (Installed 3/27/12)
2. Craven Speed stubby antenna. (Installed 4/6/12)
3. DeeZee tailgate assist. (Installed 4/7/12)
4. BedRug bedliner. (Installed 4/16/12)
5. BAK Fibermax tonneau cover and BAK Box. (Installed 4/16/12)
6. Leather center console cover.
7. Infinity 6829CF speakers.
8. Lock'er Down console safe.
9. Raptor Retrofit HID headlights.
10. Rigid E-Series 20" bumper-mount lightbar. (Installed 7/29/12)
11. RPG Stage 3 rear suspension kit with National standard leaf springs and additional set of 4" travel Air Bumps. (Installed 8/11/12)
12. Middle perch mod. (8/13/12)



Upcoming mods/upgrades:

- Wicked Performance Urban Assault bumpers, front and rear. (Not ordered but have CINC approval)

- Outlaw Raptor hood light mounts and Squadron lights. (Not ordered)

- Winch???

- On-board air???

Unfortunately, after only 4 months of use, the top post broke out of its bracket. I'm going to contact DeeZee to see what they say.

6. Leather center console cover.
I really wanted something that matched the stitching of the seats and wasn't just a piece of plastic. A number of people had indicated that the F150 Platinum had a stitched leather console cover so I ordered it through Tousley Ford. It looks great and feels much nicer than the stock Raptor cover, I just need to figure out a way to color match the stitching to my blue accent interior. Right now it is a grey/white color. I've tried the RIT dye on some of the underside stitching and it just won't take very well.

Regardless, I'm still pleased with the look and feel of the leather cover. (pictures soon)
