SVC Adjustable Bump System

Well, a few weeks ago I ordered the SVC Chase Package, which includes the SVC Adjustable Bump System and Deaver Springs. Unfortunately, UPS lost the springs. I reached out to Jeff with SVC on Tuesday evening and he got on this problem immediately. He got with Deaver and a new set was shipped out first thing Wednesday morning. I've had a great experience working with the SVC team. Their customer service is top-notch.

My install was scheduled with 806 Desert Customs in Lubbock, TX for this past Saturday. Even though the Deavers didn't make it on time I went ahead and had everything else installed. This was the first SVC bump system they had installed and they were thoroughly impressed with the product and the ease of installation. These guys were great to work with also. Bunch of good dudes that love these trucks! If you live anywhere in Southeastern New Mexico or West Texas, give these guys a shout and they will take care of you.

The color is a new gunmetal grey that matches they fender flares. Looks very sharp! Can't wait for the first opportunity to test these out! Will be sure to get a full review of the SVC Chase Package once the Deavers are installed.

Corsa Xtreme Catback Exhaust System

It was a full day of mods at 806 Desert Customs. Next up was the Corsa Xtreme Catback Exhaust System with the Black Tips. This exhaust system is unlike any I've ever experienced. It definitely has a Jeckyll and Hyde mentality! When cruising, it's quiet (stock-like) at any speed. Their claim to "No Drone" is 100% true. When you step on the gas, it screams! At times, I think it's too quiet. However, if I roll down the back window I get to hear it and it sounds mean! I don't think I could ask for anything else out of a Catback exhaust system. It's really amazing!

Rigid D2 Hyperspots on Alternative Offroad Hood Mounts

Last on the install list for the day by the guys at 806 Desert Customs was some Rigid D2 Hyperspots on some Alternative Offroad Hood Mounts.

I chose the Hyperspot Beam pattern for the hood mounts to get some distance out of them. With a quick test last night, I think this beam pattern is great for hood mounts. Reaches out and doesn't reflect any light off of the hood, which I've heard some guys complain about.

I chose the Alternative Offroad Hood Mounts due to the No-cut install. After this mod, I think I am done with all of my lighting additions (at least for the front of the truck anyways).

Fiberwerx +2.5'' fenders

Just ordered the Fiberwerx +2.5'' fenders. I'll be painting the fenders Terrain w/ Matte Black flares. The rear flares, grille, front and rear bumpers will also be painted Matte black.

I'll also be running 17'' Method NV's with 37'' Toyo MTs. Love the look of the trucks on the TMX Website that are running 37'' Toyos with stock front and rear bumpers. Also just paid for a set of Vnice's caps to finish off the wheels!

Got a set of fenders coming in also.

I'm actually thinking about wrapping the fender in Matte Green.

Added the suggested D-Rings to all six bed bolts. Also purchased 3-way strap from SDHQ since I'll be hauling around the 37" spare in the bed now. I bought one more large D-Ring that I'm planning to mount towards the center of the bed for the third attachment for the strap. As of now, planning for the spare to sit towards the rear of the truck, unless anyone can tell me why it is imperative for the weight to be distributed closer towards the cab.
