Default AARG Winter fun
Looking for people interested in some fun in the snow snowy Alberta. Looking for places with a few open trails to spend the day on. JP7 and myself are game for anything and looking for others who don't want to miss out on wheeling in the snowy season.

Yep - it'd be nice to find some open trails to tour that weren't designed for Jeep width trucks. Most of the Calgary area trails are either too tight or closed for winter.

I'm going to also start a post for this in the Expeditions page to see if we can get more interested parties.

So far have 5 trucks willing. I will confirm dates and locations in the next few days. JP7 and myself are just researching the best place for the few new trucks prior to finalizing anything.

So got a lot of interest for Dec 8th or 16th. Going to try and put something together weather pending for a short morning run on one of those days.

I'm flying back from Mehico on the 8th, so that wont work for me.
But I got a little practise in the driveway this afternoon... My admin assistant hasn't got a 4x4 so she parks at the bottom and I valet. According to the electronics, my driveway has up to a 7 degree incline but I have fun doing it in 2wd.

16th works just as good my friend so we will set that as a firm date. should still be good to hit up the riverbed and let people play a little slower than you can in the summer. Also a little teaser of my recent mods for you JP.

Also now got some Methods on order

Cool - I've got the date set too, and I may post an invite on 4Wheel Stampeders website and see if Gunther or any of the other guys want to go out and play.

Nice part about winter is there ain't any dust...

Bumper looks really cool, and that's the style I want as it's functional (you have a place to stand when working inside the engine compartment!) and I think it will work with my new light setup.
If the group shipping for the RPG Stage 3 thing is a go, I may jump in and grab one too.

From the meeting on Monday they were going to try a boxing day run. I think that's the worst possible time but oh well. The bumper has been great for working under the hood and done a lot of mods in that field too. I have been addicted to SDHQ lately. Still waiting on my RPG PSR though :( 3 months now. Got the SDHQ PSR cooler but wont hook it up until I have the PSR in. Was also going to add some nationals and move from my stage 2 to a stage 3 but been wanting the Methods forever so they came first maybe some nationals will be under the tree for me.
