Toyota owner -> Ford Raptor

As the title says, I am coming from a toyota family, born and raised with Toyota to a 2018 Ford Raptor. I CAN'T WAIT!

My Raptor was built today, 11/14/2017, and estimated delivery is by 12/2/2017.

I already have a plethora of ford accessories on order through my dealer, along with other aftermarket accessories. I'm going to keep this fairly stock since my Tacoma is going to be the dedicated toy.

I originally wanted a Tundra, but was unhappy with the offerings and the old school tech, being 21 I want all the good new tech stuff. I looked at F-150 Platinum's but for a couple extra bucks, the Raptor should do. This will be used to tow my Taco to off-road events.

Every mod will be uploaded as youtube install videos as I collaborate with another friend on his channel. A lot of the mods I am doing I couldn't find good or any details on the part or install, so hopefully they help future owners!

The most difficult decision with the Raptor is which catch can to get...

UPR; 2017 F150 & Raptor 3.5L EcoBoost UPR Dual-Valve Oil Catch Can 5030-221

If anyone has installed either, please give me your input! For the same cost I don't know which would really be better.

Hope to see some people at Silver Lake Sand Dunes in the spring!

The gen 2 ecoboost engines don’t really need a catchcan like the older models. It won’t hurt, but it’s not necessary.

21 and a 18 raptor!? Good for you! I would have never been able to afford that at your age.

Welcome to FRF.

There was a catch can discussion in the engine forum a while back.

What makes you think that?

Thank you! I have been VERY fortunate, but I have done a lot of "grinding" and still am, it will never stop. I enjoy the journey more than the destination.

I can't wait to get this Raptor, first new new vehicle and it's going to be mine, and only mine.
