Hi All,

Checking in from Conroe, Texas. Just bought a '14 Raptor loaded with everything except the hood graphics.

I purchased this truck for a lot of reasons and so far it meets my expectations, but I have to say that despite the 411 rated HP and 434 ft pounds of torque, I am disappointed in the overall performance. I expected more with those numbers, despite its' 6,000 pound weight.

I have some mods in mind and I'd like to hear from others on the forum about the order of precedence and also whether what I have in mind makes good sense for the dollars spent.

To start, I have no interest in going the supercharger route. I am probably interested in boosting the HP by 50 - 75 with some bolt-ons and a good tune.

Here's what I have in mind...

1. Cat Back Exhaust - probably Corsa or Borla
2. CAI - K&N
3. Tuner Kit - Undecided
4. 40# or 45# fuel injectors
5. Throttle Body

Any comments are welcome. I'd like to hear from others who have tried some of these and whether they got the expected "bang for the buck." Thanks.

Welcome, along with the exhaust id suggest some headers, with a good tune and new headers it should give it a little more umph, and a great sound. Also throttle Bodies have not been the most effective mod it seems

Congrats and welcome!

With your mod list I dont see the need for the injectors and throttle body. Go with some long tube headers, good exhaust and put a hi flow drop-in filter in (forget the CAI) and get a tune.

As far as tunes, the SVC TUNE is a great choice and is very popular, great improvement in throttle response and power increases. Very smooth "cruising" driveability, but put the peddle down and she'll let loose. We calibrate these tunes to your performance mods, so whichever way you choose to go, we can tune it.

Let me know if you have any questions, I'd be happy to help.
