I picked up a Magnetic Grey 2018 SCREW with the 802A package a few weeks ago. I have been going back and forth the last several months and finally pulled the trigger. I traded in my 2015 Platinum and couldn’t be happier with the decision. This truck is a ton of fun to drive and is unreal in the snow. I am excited to see what it can do this summer off-road. I built up a Jeep TJ out of high school and it evolved into a monster on 38’s. I spent a lot of time with it on the trails in Colorado and Moab. It was stolen in 2009 and the insurance payout was laughable despite having receipts for all the components. I never got back into off-roading after that and started building custom semis for customers. I am going to start modifying the suspension and do some other performance modifications in the next few weeks. I can’t wait to rally this thing in Moab in the spring and do some mountain biking. This is going to be an awesome shuttle rig this summer. I’ve spent the last couple months learning a ton lurking around the forum. I appreciate a lot of the input I’ve seen and am set on the right path to build the truck out.

So far I’ve done the clear bra, window tint, ceramic coated the paint, pedal commander, and put on a Pace Edwards Full metal jacket bed cover (off last truck). I have a Spicer nodular diff cover, S&B CAI and Fox 3.0 Factory Race coil-overs on order. I also plan on putting some +3 Deavers on an RPG air bump kit pretty soon. Anyways... I am excited to get started

Do you mind if I ask about the approximate cost? I’m trying to get some rough figures together.

Thanks!

The ceramic coating can vary. Depending on the condition of the paint it’s around $900-1400. They will fully detail the truck before hand and have to wet sand and clay bar to get the paint perfect. Mine was new so I was on the lower end of cost.

If you want to clear bra you need to do it prior to ceramic coating. The coating won’t let it adhere properly, same goes for any vinyl decals you might want. Again this depends on how much coverage you want but you can expect to pay $300-$500. I think the window are around $100-$150 each.

That’s the price range I’ve heard. Truck will be new, so hopefully on the lower end.

Thanks for the info!
