So I got my 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X MR back in March last year. Did the power mods until I was satisfied enough to sell my 99 SS Camaro. I miss the v8 howl... The Evo was a monster through the snow this past winter and a definite canyon carver. My daily commute is 20 miles round trip in DC traffic and I don't even own my own house yet. However... I've been craving this Raptor since it's launch and been stalking my local Ford dealership as long...

Spotted the white 2011 Screw Raptor with all the bells and whistles on it and decided to stroll in to crunch numbers.

I'm a little negative for my trade in so I'd be at 57k with TTL included...
I'm thinking about walking away from this deal until I can sell my car out right or find a used 2010 2 door. Not sure if I'll be as happy since I got to see the 2011 with all the upgrades.

oh well I'll sleep on it tonight. 3.99% for 72 months isn't terrible. I have no NEED for a big 4x4 but I didn't need the Evo and Camaro either... I buy cars I want :)

I've decided to post here to get some inspiration on the purchase or the knowledge to pass on this one. Thanks for looking!

Here's a black one I was looking at, already sold tho. Dealer says he's been selling them 3k over MSRP right now...
tossing some evo pix in here for y'all too

Thats crap, dont settle for 3k over msrp! I got mine for MSRP after taxes and everything, plus they bumped my trade from $11,500 to $16,000. Most people on here got them close to invoice.

I sold my 2010 Evo X MR and bought a 2011 Raptor Super Crew. I enjoy the Raptor so much more even though I didn't need either of these vehicles. I am way more comfortable in the Raptor and now I search for pot holes instead of avoiding them. Gas expenses are similar depending on driving habits for both vehicles. Parking is harder in the Raptor. Surprisingly, the turning radius is similar for both. Good luck in your decision.

Went through USAA...paid $1000 over invoice fully loaded. Don't pay over msrp with gas over $4 per gallon!

I'm also a USAA member, did you use their online service or just call them? And how long did it take to find what you were looking for?
