long time lurker...

Hey,

I've been an avid reader of the boards for over a year now.

I ordered my 2011 Tuxedo Black SVT Raptor SCREW in October 2010, while I was in Iraq. My ex-wife picked it up for me in April 2011, and I finally got to drive it when I came home for R&R in May 2011.

I was only home for a few weeks, and barley got any free time...but I got about 2000 miles on RAP-THOR (the ex named the truck)...and loved every minute!

I am still overseas...working as a contractor for the Army doing counter-IED work in Afghanistan. I love my job, and can't imagine doing anything else.

I'll be back in the States for a 3 month break beginning in mid May and I will be getting some serious road time in... possibly taking a road trip from North West Arkansas to the Grand Canyon.

I appreciate all the advice and information provided on this site, and look forward to sharing what ever I can with my fellow Raptor owners.

Welcome to FRF! I'm in much the same boat you are, I'm only home for about 3.5 months a year. I spend the rest out here in the 'Stan. Whereabouts are you at if you are able to say?

I'm up at BAF. Drop me a line if you're ever up this way, chances are that I'll be here haha. Stay safe down there. I did a 6 month tour at KAF with the Air Force in 2010, The one thing that stays with me is smelling the poo pond so bad I could taste it when I first woke up in the morning.
