wrecked my 2012 raptor

my oeginall thought I was taking it to the dealer but that was before I saw the extent of the damage. I was thinking the dealer would be better off in a repair because they would have the most knowledge compared to some secondary body shop who may not have worked on Raptors before.
what posses me. ff the most is that I had my 2 year old son with me (in car seat) and of c ouse he got scared. We both got taken to hospital to get checked out. I'ma bit sore in the back but he is fine thank god. So I didn't get to really see how bad the damage was until I went to the tow yard. By that time I had already met with insurance agent and told him that if anyone should do repairs the dealer should have tthe most knowledge.
I just know in my mind I'l lnever be happy knowing it was in a wreck. And I doubt it will ever be the same again. Plus my warranty expires in march 2015.

I'd trust a high school shop class to conduct repairs on my truck before another dealer. But maybe I'm partial to the issue.

The more I look at the pictures the more I think its totaled. Its clearly into the frame and who knows how far the damage reached into the engine. Damage like this can quickly reach 50% of the value of the vehicle. Make sure u have ur injuries documented, back issues can be lay doormat for a long time after an accident and yes thank god your son is okay. I have my soon to be three year old son with me constantly in the truck, I'm afraid of what I would do to someone that caused him to be injured accident or not.

Just looking at how everything is caved in... I'll be REALLY surprised if the frame isnt bent out. That alone will get it totalled... especially if they inspect any of the crumple zones.

The dealer said he can fix it. Said if frame is bent that it's the same frame as all other f150. They are universal. I just don't want it anymore. Adjuster just called and he'll be looking at it tomorrow and let me know the outcome.

This will **** you if insurance was thinking about totaling. If the shop says "ya we can fix it" and then can't, well good luck getting them to total it after dumping money into it.
