What's the Best way to break in a new Truck?

But no Steve there isn't any break procedure other than don't beat the hell out of it right of the bat.
While the motor does go through a break in run at the factory it's not a real 1,500 to 3,000 mile piston ring setting run.
You will feel your truck perform better after 3,000 miles now that everything set and loosened up.
Wait until your first oil change and then have real fun.

Yeah, but I bet you didn't them all down to the ground day one! LOL

I had 3,000 miles on mine before the Whipple was installed, first full pull was right at the driveway exit!
Scared the shit out of the Service Tech. LOL

Ha. 18,000 miles later I still can't get them down to the ground with the crappy stock springs. That will change in a week curtesy of Deaver and SVC adjustable bumps!
