Added 4.5” Vision X light cannons to the hood. Amber covers arrive Monday or Tuesday.

I’ll aim them a little better tomorrow.

Huge difference in the light output XL80s versus the Cannons. The xl80s would have a wide beam coverage pattern versus Cannons pencil sharp pattern.

Yup. I believe it. Bought these used though. Ordered some covers that will switch the pattern to a combo. If I don’t like it, I’ll switch someday. I’ll use them, but it’s hard to justify big spends for limited use items.

Several years ago Optima was all the rage, but have been hearing they've had issues. Put an Optima my wife's Tahoe when the OEM battery went out. Works great.

Rebuilt my front shocks yesterday, many thanks to @m3dragon and the DIY thread, will post some tips in there next week. Also upper UCA's (OEM), lower shock bolts (Forged Offroad), lower alignment cams (Moog), and mid perch:

I still need to do the rears, hopefully tomorrow, but the difference is night and day, ******* WHY DIDN'T I DO THIS SOONER!!!! Mid perch and fresh shocks makes this truck feel like it SHOULD...at least off the showroom floor heh. Mine just rolled 157k on the way home, so much smoother now...

Just a heads up with the covers, they seem to bleed a lot of light towards the cab compared to without the covers. I ended up masking out the covers and painting the rim of it to combat this issue. Not perfect but better than before.

Finally finished installing Geiser Springs on new shocks. Didn’t realize two of the three bolts on top of the shock where closer together. Found out the hard way and had to take apart the shock and realign everything. Also got 37s installed on SE beadlock wheels. Haven’t installed the beauty ring pending alignment.
