I just finished the longest drive I ever had in the truck Vancouver to Los Angeles back to Vancouver, WA straight shot, 18hrs one-way. I like the truck more and more for normal truck things rather than an offroad toy. Maybe its time to buy/build a dedicated offroad toy and have the Raptor tow it

Installed the Blackvue DR650S-2CH. Its pretty well hidden from the drivers view and got the battery pack and tamper proof case. Just not sure if I am going to keep the battery pack in the glove box. Playing with all the settings, pretty cool.

Mine was totally fine but I don't mind spending $17 and a half hour of my time to make sure it never becomes an unexpected issue.

is there a write up to this? ive heard of the problem, but didnt know there was a bypass fix for it. just thought i would replace the fuse itself.

There's more, don't recall where the detailed post is at, but somewhere in the second link
Found more.

BTW - don't just replace the fuse. The fuse holder/wiring is undersized, thus the splice kit.

Keep the current one for off roading and get another!
