Your lucky

They made a mistake and gave you the Ecoboost engine, cause your not getting that MPG with the 6.2, even on the flats at Death Valley in the Winter:puke:

My truck is starting to get pretty decent gas mileage for such a big vehicle. I had right at 1100 miles on the clock when I took it on a 300 mile day trip, mostly back highways doing 60-65 mph. When I got on the interstate for the final 100 miles the fuel economy was at 15.4, I set the cruise at 70 and when I got home it read 16.0. Around town I get 13-14 and that is about what I was getting in my previous ecoBoost F150's.

They are super sensitive to speed. Anything north of 70 your out of luck, but at 65 they can get really good fuel mileage for what they are..............but who drives 65? I just don't worry about it. I love driving the truck, we literally take it everywhere. My wifes 4 runner never gets driven if we are going somewhere together.

I don't always go places with my wife, but when I do, I prefer the Raptor.:driver:

When i sold my 2013 ecoBoost looked at the overall mpg for the truck and it said 16mpg with 12000 miles on it thats not far off from what u will get with the raptor.

I agree. Both my current and my previous eco boost platinums averaged around 14.7. I will say that I was able to get my last truck up to 17, just before I sold it. She had 22k miles and a switch seemed to have flipped at 20k. No such luck with my current truck as it has 36k miles and still sits around 14.7 MPG.
