Screws with flat bed trailers, what's it like?

Might be towing an 04 civic coupe from LA to SLC. Probably rent a flatbed or tow dolly from uhaul.

Last thing I towed was 18 ft bayliner with a 71 GMC longbed 15 years ago.

Shouldn't be an issue. I wold just make sure the receiver is long enough depending on the trailer height. A civic probably weights as much as a load of ATVs

Just finished across country trip (4600 miles)pulling 26 ft trailer. gas mileage was about 9.5 but I was always doing speed limit whether it was 65 or 75. Truck did great, but I do use WD hitch. Combined weight when I got back was 12940lbs.

I tow a travel trailer with no issues. A WD system is definitely beneficial for these trucks though.
