I'll decide after I see a lot of others mod their 2017 and see how much boost and power are capable from the stock Motors. I bought my truck to put a Whipple on it. The charger whine is like sex to the ears and pretty much the best thing since sliced bread. I have an F10 M5 and 2012 STi Hatch RallyX Car. Still... Charger whine is ****

I had a Supercharged Frontier so I know what that sounds like, but it will never do what a turbo can do. I use to have an STI as well and have a 15 Forester XT, now and the turbo 2.0 liter DIT motor is very very nice for a 4 cylinder.

thanks for a 2nd laugh!

Sure, when's the last time you drove a 3.5L EcoBoost? How about a tuned one?

Guys with lots of mods in the 12's, number of them in the 13's that are only stock plus tune...and looking at 4x4's only.
Ecoboost quarter mile times and mod's - Ford F150 Forum - Community of Ford Truck Fans

Without doing a bunch of research here's a Raptor with a tune & a few mods at 14.82...

And here's Hennessey's VelociRaptor - 2014 VelociRaptor 600 as seen on TopGear | Vehicles for Sale | Hennessey Performance
Power:
• 623 bhp @ 5,700 rpm
Performance:
• 0-60 mph: 5.2 seconds
• 1/4 mile: 13.6 @ 103 mph

I am well aware there's more to it than just 1/4 mile times, but damn some 3.5L Eco's with a simple tune are holding there own/winning...

I wonder how those Ecoboosts would do with the same heavy suspension components and 35" tires that the Raptor has.

Good question, I wish they would've posted the wheel base length as well as the added foot in wheelbase for the screws with the long box would even out the weight some...
