Honda odyseey we just picked up showed fault right from.the dealership. They had put new tires on it and replaced the sensors with aftermarket units. They ended up with the car for a week mounting and unmounting the tires from the rims until they finally listened to me and replaced the sensors with Honda sensors. Their $10 save per sensor cost them about $900.
On the raptor - I wouldn't remove the sensors... you're asking for trouble if you have an accident. They are just like seat belts and are required now.
That being said my 5 star tune SCT programmer allows you to adjust the tpms. That's a win win .
