Just curious if anybody drove their Raptor in downtown New york or San Francisco? Is it tough to look for a parking and maneuver?

Thanks,

I cannot speak on the behalf of NYC or San Fran, but roads are pretty tight in ATL. It mainly depends on driver skill, which includes avoiding other bad drivers. You know, the ones that are turning left on the outer lane, but don't give you enough space to turn your long wheelbase, wide truck around the bend? Yeah, those ******** and more. I usually accelerate quicker to get my proper placement before they start turning so that they do not turn too early.

Parking... that really depends on the area. I've been to NYC, and a lot of parking is street parking and lot parking. If it's a deck, just watch out for clearance. Also, there are some very narrow decks... just take your time and do multiple point turns if you have to.

yeah i actually just got back from the specialist in Manhattan(who had lovely bad news for me but thats a different story).....the truck isnt that bad city driving you have to watch when you turn cause people like to stand in the street instead of the side walk on corners an if you turn to tight you might pick some road ornaments . Its been widely said the raptor sucks in traffic an its no lie but my cooled seats helped me relax . Parking this thing in the city's beyond impossible man most the time out of fear of being hit i just park in a garage, but if you find a spot most the time the trucks to big to fit in. I dont frequently drive into the city but when i do its not that bad handles the crappy roads pretty good an is as always a pleasure to drive......oh an god help you if someones double parked an its a one way street with parking on both sides theres no way in hell this bohemouth is getting by man

Most fun i had was purposefully smashing the hanging height tube in a garage in SF (down by market one). Then backing up and parking in a ATT employee only parking space. (it was so low it hit the windshield...)

******* dirty hippies and their dirty hippy city with its hatred for overly large and awesome trucks..

On a side note i had no problem driving around in SF or even DC. Pedestrians tended to stop and stare or run and hide more then they did wander in front of the truck.
