Has anyone had the remote access installed? I'm a techie and generally appreciate all the bells and whistles you can throw at me. I found online that there is a remote access option that one can use to remote start, set climate and alert you if someone is messing with your baby. The general concept sounds awesome. So, today I popped into my local Ford dealer and got a quote to install this cool option. Here are my findings:
Aerial ays (the main part) $358.71
Security kit (some required part) $198.57
Labor $100 (guestimate)
Annual service $50
This tech seems cool. However that seems like a lot of $ for something that we may or may not use much.
What are your thoughts?
