Lest you primitive, cro-magnon forehead mofos think I’m hatin’ on the Gen1, I’m not. I’ve got a bit of an affinity for gen1 tech myself.


I’m thinking this might be why I have not gained acceptance at local starbucks. I’ve noticed a lot of pointing when I roll up, and send my peeps into the store. But then all the prius and mommy van drivers shun me.

If that was true, they'd be working 10 jobs to afford it, and have no time to post here. The same people are driving gen 1's as there always was.

who fitted your boatecs and painted them for you, where they done in the idaho area? are you satisfied with them. im looking for a good shop to do mine

They were done by a body shop in Pinehurst, ID. Glassworks though, not Boatec. Definitely been satisfied. The fit is good, the look is great, and there's been no spidering or anything like that.

you got your paint and fit done there? and how much did they charge you.

Yup, paint and fit. I think it was around $1500. They had to modify the firewall area to clear the 37x13.5 toyo's, so that added some cost.
