Here the SOP is to drive with your head up your ass and then punch it when someone wants to pass. OMG, these people are going to give me an aneurysm.

If I had to drive the truck (or any four wheeler) every day I would be dead from an aneurysm. I love the people that get on the freeway, move to the left lane, and then just sit there. It makes my head explode. In case anyone was confused, the left lane if for passing. If you aren't actively passing someone, move to the right one or two lanes. If you are going the exact same speed as the person to your right, slow down or speed up and get in the same lane as them. It isn't rocket science.

I've been waiting to get pulled over while speeding in the right lane and asking the officer why he isn't pulling over the people that in the left lane that I'm passing.

See thats what I love about Germany and the autobahn... It's illegal to sit in the left lane unless you're passing someone or just hauling ass in general. It prevents those guys who drive in and out of lanes trying to pass people.

The fine associated with sitting in the left lane is rough.

It's just small **** syndrome. It isn't limited to any brands. When you roll up at a light in a Lamborghini every ******* in a mustang, camaro, challenger, miata, corvette, porsche, or whatever will try to race you. I had one kid spot me filling up gas way down the road. He pulled in just to stare at it and ask me how much HP it was putting out. I told him and was on my way when the pump clicked. He then proceeded to follow me in his heavily modded subaru wrx sti. I drove normally as I always do. Got stopped at a light and he pulled up next to me revving that poor engine to death. I feel bad for the subaru.

My point is, when you have a car that is rare, powerful, and stunningly gorgeous, you're bound to shrink **** sizes nearby.
As a driver of both a Porsche and an STI I take exception to this. :happy3:

Way too many people I pull up next to in my Porsche want to race me, whether it's on city streets or the highway. I've also gotten called in twice by random people for "aggressive driving" in my Porsche including one time during rush hour on a very busy road with my 2 kids in the back where I was only on the road for 2 miles and was driving along with traffic as normal as normal can be the entire time. In general I've found people just don't like other people that are in nice cars, especially cars nicer than theirs. I also think people assume you're some rich jerk if you drive a nice car. I'm a 35 year old guy that's worked very hard to get where I am and I'm about the nicest guy you'll ever meet.

I will admit there's way too many kids on the road with STIs that like to street race and generally drive like idiots.

I like trucks dodge ford or chevy...My viper truck might be one of my favs but the raptor is fun too!!!!!
That's a very nice looking engine bay!

Seriously that is one of my biggest pet peeves with drivers. Here in CO people pull out into the left lane immediately all the time including on 5 lane highways where they basically have to swerve dangerously to get there quickly. People also love to speed up when you try and pass them on the right because they won't move over as if it's their right to go as slow as they want and you have no business passing them. That's when I'm glad to have high HP cars, especially one with 600 HP that's impossible for people to speed up and block.

That's good you keep your cool. I had one Porsche Boxster come up beside me and rev his engine. I looked at my dad and asked, "what is he doing?". I looked over at him and he gave me the thumbs down. First thumbs down I've ever gotten for the Lambo. Even funnier it came from a Boxster owner. He made Porsche owners look bad that day.

Jesus, who the hell does that? First thing that comes to mind is someone with a few insecurities.

Yeah definitely. At least there's a lot of other people who appreciate the car. Mostly little kids in their soccer mom suv's yelling out the window "nice car mister!"

Fixed. That's not a real Porsche.
