You keep saying this but, you do understand that most people, when they have a problem with a product, they do not usually run back to the place that sold them the problem. You may not know of the issues... Just like one customers tile guy. He told me in 25 years he had never had a shower fail. I was in one house where he did eight showers 5-6 years ago, all were leaking and had failed. The owners did not call that guy back, they resolved the problem with a different vendor.

Just because you haven't heard, doesn't mean it isn't happening...

Comparing the automotive aftermarket to home remodeling contractors is comparing apples to oranges. I have been doing this for ten years online and I can tell you from first hand experience, when my customers have issues, they contact me the vast majority of the time. Mainly because almost everyone's first thought when having issues with aftermarket products have to do with warranty coverage and because I am their point of contact, they contact me with their concerns. I have been selling the same exact R1Concepts package since 2009 and have sold over 500 R1 packages for Raptor owners since 2012. You can bet that if they weren't all we claim, not only would they not receive the rave reviews they consistently receive from the Raptor community as a whole, the stink from bad reviews or issues, whether here on this forum or elsewhere would serve to ruin their reputation all over the place.

At the risk of insulting a ton of people here, I think the point of reference needs to be considered here. The simple fact is the stock brakes are crap, I mean a 214 ft stop from 70 for a '10 Scab (C&D 12/09) is poor braking by any standard.

I think what you sell, especially the drilled rotors demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of the system in question. There is not enough heat sink, drilling a blank reduces its mass and ability to absorb heat even further. As I mentioned before, I do not think finding the longest lasting pad is any concern of mine. I want one that grabs in an attempt to improve the pathetic system the truck came with.

Now because what you push is better than what comes on the truck and, you are members of the Raptor community, and most have never experienced GOOD brakes, you have generated a substantial fan base. I will tell you honestly and you can call me arrogant but, I think I know better. I think my choices will stop better than yours. Maybe the pads will be dusty and squeal every now and then. Maybe they will wear out twice as fast as the ones you like. I think there is more performance to be had, at the expense of longevity.

The fact is the system is undersized to begin with and you can not have both durability and performance without making more substantial upgrades to the system.

So I am sure what you sell works, heck I have even recommended your set-up in other threads. What I seek is the best braking the stock system can provide. I don't see yours as aggressive enough for what I want. Cant we just disagree?

There is always that guy. And always that guy that has never tried something but knows everything about a product he hasn't tried.

I have a lot of experience with the subject, don't care if you don't think so. I wont try that product because I think I can better serve my needs with different products. I don't have the budget to try a bunch and I think my needs are different than most of the obviously satisfied customers they have.

How many different sets did you try? Or was it easier to follow the herd?

I am probably one of the few that has tried different set ups. I've tried Carbotech autox compound pads with the stock rotors. If you are looking to over power the abs system using stock rotors and calipers, look no further. The brakes were insanely good. The downside.... dust, noise and ruining the stock wheels and completely locking up the tires in the rain without trying.

I was really happy with the performance of the pads but they chewed through the rotors quick and to me were not worth buying again. If I had an unlimited budget is get a big brake kits on the Raptor. The R1 Concepts package works and performs better than stock. Normal amount of dust and no noise.

My truck has almost 80k miles mostly street driven, but I floor it everyday and drive it hard. If you don't mind changing pads and rotors in 20k miles then the Carbotech AutoX pads are the way to go.

Here's a link to an old thread....

I do not have one, the truck is new to me. I wont be trying 10 different combos or buying R1 products though. I will most likely go with EBC rotors and orange pads.

Good luck with that. There are a LOT of members that have been very disappointed in the performance of that combo. Not just folks that never use their trucks and have zero experience with other brands. But folks that truly beat on their trucks and have test several different brand products on their Raptors.

You don't like R1, we get that. We might not understand how someone with zero experience can be so overqualified for discussing the actual merits and or viability of a product, but hey, more power to ya.

Well I am sure as **** not going to be bullied into it by a vendor, and that is how you have made this feel this since the beginning ...

I have been very clear thus far, I think coatings and drilled rotors are just gimmicks to sell rotors to people who have no clue. I am not interested in the longest lasting low dust pad you have found, Centric? Seriously? That is just garbage. I have been very clear about having lots of OTHER brake experience, which in theory applies to any vehicle. I will find something that works, don't worry about me, I wont be calling you...

I have YET to see you try and discuss any of the technical aspects. Your pitch revolves around selling a bunch of product and how successful you have been at peddling crap and making people feel good about it. Freaking hilarious to watch I must say. Zero experience with this truck but I have bought as many brake pads over the years as you have sold R1 kits so spare me your pretentious "experienced" comments.

I don't care what you sell or what you think you know, I wouldn't ever buy from you after what I have seen you post here. I am sure there are plenty of sheeple though that will keep you in business, just keep up that empty propaganda and a mantra about how many kits you have sold. There is a sucker born every minute, and at least 500 of them have already bought in...

What a second, you have bought more brake pads for your personal vehicles over the years than the over 500 that R1 Concepts has sold since 2012?

Yeah sir you are definitely now full of shit. Your credibility here means nothing, new comer. I would suggest you joining the Raptor Z forum. It's a lot better than FRF for you. You've been an ****** in all the post you've done not just here. Get a better life dude. You sir are a TROLL.
