Same here, although I paid 2k, that was pre-Raptor Forum or just uninformed.

Warranty prices are subject to haggling, just like everything else. Plus, some quotes might use a higher deductible and be priced cheaper.

Yea Ice, I'm familiar with the game but I've gotta admit the discrepancy being twice the price in some cases surprised even me.

Gotcha. IDK, maybe certain sites are just quoting the "no frills with high deductible" prices to lure people in and drive sales, then hoping people will check a few boxes for a lower deductible and raise the purchase price once they're in there.
