You'll find a lot of folks on the Internet despise Hennessey. He has done some unethical and illegal things (i.e. theft from customers and suppliers), and was previously sued out of business for it (as Hennessey Motorsports, not Hennessey Performance Engineering). He additionally had a habit of personally attacking people on the Internet who were either legitimately upset at being wronged by him, or who ran Internet forums and refused to censor negative comments from those who were wronged by him. (ALL of this information is based on things I've read in car mags or on the Internet, NOT personal or even second-hand experience.)

That said, I can't imagine the truck you picked up being anything less than awesome. Given how much fun this thing is with 400hp, 600 should be absolutely ridiculous. And from the Hennessey spec sheet, it looks like quite a nice build. Can't wait to see it with all the added ADD bits on it too, their stuff looks top-notch.

This thing will start as a Hennessey VelociRaptor.... and then morph into something way beyond that.

Agreed! It may have the kit on it, but this animal is sooooo much more then a Hennessey Raptor. It will truely be a one of a kind. It will be show cased at Sema, Raptor Round Up's, magazines, car shows around the country, etc. Believe me when I say, when people see this truck, and what it will do on and off road, they won't be thinking it's just a Hennessey Truck! They will see one of the meanest purpose built animals around.

Maybe I'll see ya at the shop when I pick mine up From the sound of it, this will be the most heavily modded Raptor yet and really display it's abilities and usefulness.

That is the plan .The guys from ADD will will make this Raptor a very special truck.I cant wait to get it to them so thay can start on the transformation .I would like to THANK everyone one this forum for being supportive . if you have some ideas chime in we want to here what you have to say

Well said. They can turn out some incredible machines. Would I have them do a build for me? Not a chance. I simply do not trust the man.

Since the Velocity Raptor was their show piece I have little doubt it was done to top shelf standards.
