Well, it looks like its a suspension or a rear shock nut.. I dont see any blue loctite in it so its not a production one... and the other thing looks like a bearing cap for a trailer.. Maybe to make your own ABS line cover?

Well that's a factory dust cover for the front hubs. Can you give us a hint as to what the nut is from or how they could be used together?

Well I've pulled apart hundred's of front ends and never seen a nut like that. Always a castle nut with a codder pin and that's what's throwing me off

NoSir. Bearings, hub, driveshaft, and caliper stayed on the whole time.
