Well, it looks like its a suspension or a rear shock nut.. I dont see any blue loctite in it so its not a production one... and the other thing looks like a bearing cap for a trailer.. Maybe to make your own ABS line cover?

Hints:

No blue loctite? Correct; there is none.

Not a production part? Incorrect; this came off the truck as supplied from the factory.

Well that's a factory dust cover for the front hubs. Can you give us a hint as to what the nut is from or how they could be used together?

NoSir. Bearings, hub, driveshaft, and caliper stayed on the whole time.

(I will do a full write up later today. Won't keep ya in suspense too much longer ;))
