I believe that issue was fixed in early 2011 with a new drive shaft. If your 2012 is making a noise, I would bring it back to your dealer and have them take a look at it.

I thought this was a done deal also. They replaced mine and haven't had any issues since.

Hey Bryson, if I remember correctly, you're running some sort of forced induction.... Just curious, did you notice it before you 'charged the truck?

Just an idea to try (if you're not 100% certain it's the yolk on the driveshaft clunking):

Loosen (don't take off) the bolts on the forward and rear skid plates and then re-tighten.

Sounds weird I know, but I was getting a klunking/popping sound at slow speeds and when turning. Turned out to be my skid plate bolts popping in the mounts. Loosening the bolts and retightening seemed to line everything up and all klunking is gone.

Just a thought...

Treypal turned me on to it. I banged the heck out of the skids in tx and it seems to be a relatively common problem.

Agreed the phy, I haven't had it (knock on wood) but I believe some people also had some rocks or something stuck in their skid and it caused that.
