OK, so the 5.4 was replaced at 400,000 miles with a 100,000 mile junk yard engine.
So that's 612,572 on a junk yard motor!

I guess someone maintained that junk yard engine better than he maintained his first one.:)

And that would be a total of 712,572 on the second engine.

Oops. Missed the part about replacing the motor, which makes my title on the thread incorrect at best.

Still impressive with 712,572 miles on a 5.4. Give the guy a year, and my title may become correct. Kinda like a broken watch is right twice a day.

Yes, correct, my higher math is, well, ya know, not what it used to be.
So, how about that junker motor, I wonder if the 67K he spent on maintenance included the motor.
