is the grinding noise in hill descent normal?

Feels like abs, but it also feels like something is etching my rotors. Normal or not? Thanks in advance

the hill descent when I used it (only once) the abs made a lot of sound, kinda grinding.

Used It one time and hated the sound and smell

Maybe it resides after a good break in??

Perfectly normal. It is your ABS, that is what controls your hill descent.

This was me trying it (skip to 1:40).

The ABS almost sounded like a squealing belt. Never tried this feature on any vehicle before, but the noise makes sense IMO.

Grinding noise, outside of ABS, is the dirt and crap on your rotors going through the pads at slow speeds.
